How do you go by train?
How to go to Shibuya by train from Haneda Airport:
■Take Tokyo Monorail
■Take Keikyu Line
I will explain these 2 ways in detail.
How to Go by Monorail
Take Tokyo Monorail at Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho station
The layout of buildings of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are very similar.
So, after getting off airplane, you can transfer in a similar way in either Terminal.
How do you get to Tokyo Monorail Ticket Gate from Arrival Lobby?
- Go down the escalator from Arrival Lobby .
- Go down to B1 floor.
- You will see the Information counter.
- Monorail Ticket Gates are dead ahead.
- Please buy a connection ticket for Shibuya, \ 690.
- It takes 3 min to walk to Monorail Ticket Gate.

In the order of Monorail stations are :
Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station (Terminal 2 building)
↓ ↓ ↓
Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station (Terninal 1 building)
↓ ↓ ↓
Haneda Airport International Terminal Station
And so on , then finally arrive at the terminal station, Hamamatsucho.

The types of trains are Haneda Express, Rapid Train and Local Train on their running time.
Ride Time to Hamamatsucho (by Haneda Express) is
16 min from Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station and
18 min from Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station.
Transfer at Hamamatsucho to JR(Japan railway) Line
Take JR Line at Hamamatsucho station.
How do you transfer?
- Turn left, after getting out of Monorail Ticket Gate.
- There are the stairs and escalator a little ahead,
- They are down only.
- After getting down, walk across the passage by following the signboard.
- The stairs and escalator are up only
- Go up and you will find JR Ticket Gate.

How to go to Shibuya station by JR Line
Take Yamanote Line Outer Tracks(for Shinagawa, Shibuya and Shinjuku) from Track No.3.
You will arrive at Shibuya station at 7 stops and for 19 min ride.
Get off the left side door.
How to go by Keikyu Line
Haneda Airport is the starting station of Keikyu train.
How do you get to Keikyu Ticket Gate from Arrival Lobby?
- Go down the escalator from Arrival Lobby
- Go down to B1 floor.
- You will see the Information counter.
- Monorail Ticket Gates are dead ahead.
- Walk further by following the Keikyu Line signboard.
- Go down the escalator and get to Keikyu Line.
- you will see the Keikyu Ticket Gate.
- Touch the button of “Transfer at Shinagawa”at Ticket Machine.
- Buy the ticket to Shibuya, \580.
- Transfer Time is 5 min on foot.

In this Time Table, there are some trains you should not ride.
Train destinations are
久…Keikyu- kurihama / 崎…Misakiguchi
新…Shinzusi / 神…Kanagawa-shinmachi
These trains don’t go to Shinagawa station.
Except these, you can ride any train.
- You can see destination information on the electric bulletin board.
Riding time to Shinagawa station depends on the type of train,
but it takes about 15~20 min.
Fare is \ 410
Transfer to JR(Japan Railway) Line at Keikyu Shinagawa station
When you come to Shinagawa by Keikyu Line,
You need to transfer to JR Yamanote Line
- When you will arrive at Keikyu Shinagawa station.
- Get off Car No.2 or Car No. 5
- First car is No.8
- You will find an escalator near you.
- Go up the escalator and walk the passageway.
- When you get down the stairs, here you come to Platform No.1
- You will find JR Transfer Gate on this platform.

Another way
- Get off Car No.7
- Go down the stairs or escalator.
- After getting down, turn right.
- At the end of the passagerway, there is the escalator.
- Go up the escalator, then you will come to JR Transfer Gate.
Take JR Yamanote Line Outer Tracks(for Shibuya, Shinjuku) from Track No. 2.
You will arrive at Shibuya station at 5 stops and for 13 min ride.
Get off the left side door.
How to transfer from Haneda Airport International Terminal
There are 3 ways to transfer.
◆Train(Tokyo Monorail or Keikyu Line)
◆Limousine bus
◆Inter – Terminal Free Shuttle Bus

How to Go by Bus
3 company’s buses , Airport Limousine, Tokyu and Keikyu leave Haneda Airport for the following Shibuya stops :
- Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu
- Shibuya Station West Gate
- Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel
How to get on the bus
Buy a bus ticket at“Limousine Bus Ticket Counter”
These counters are situated at both sides of Central Exit of 1F Arrival Lobby.
And they are located at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Please buy a bus ticket in advance,
Then, get on the bus at Bus stop No.14 on either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.
Ride time to Shibuya depends on traffic congestion,
But it takes about 30~70 min.
One-way ticket: \1,030.
Late night and Early morning ticket: \ 2,060
How to go by Taxi
When you take a taxi from Haneda Airport to Shibuya:
Time: 25 ~ 40 min.
Fare: about \6,670.
Time and fee of taxi vary with traffic congestion, too.
So, I recommend that you take “Haneda Airport Flat-rate Taxi”

■By Keikyu Line

When you want to take trains,
It is recommended that you take Keikyu Line and transfer at Shinagawa station.
Once you get on Limousine bus,
You don’t have to transfer to anywhere or carry around luggage.
So, Limousine bus is absolutely recommended, if you have enough time to ignore traffic congestion.
