How to go by Highway Bus
This is the most recommended way.
Reasons:
■ Inexpensive fare
■ Riding time by bus is about the same as train.
2 kinds of shuttle buses are operated between Tokyo Station and Narita Airport.
Keisei “Tokyo Shuttle” and と
JR Expressway Bus “The Access Narita”

Tokyo Shuttle / Bus stop at Tokyo Station
Keisei Bus stop 3 (About 200m from Yaesu North Gate)
- Exit Yaesu North Gate and go straight.
- You will go past the department store “Daimaru”.
- Walk for a while and there is a crosswalk.
- Go across the crosswalk and take a left.
- Go through the next crosswalk.
- You could see a long line of passengers beyond that.
- That’s the Bus stop of Tokyo Shuttle.
- It is 5 min walk from Yaesu North Gate.

THE Access Narita / Bus stop at Tokyo Station
JR Expressway Bus stop No.7 in front of Yaesu South Gate.
How to go to Yaesu South Gate from bullet train(Shinkansen) platforms
Tokyo Station is the buildings extended north and south.
When you come from Yokohama (that is, from the south),
the front of train is North and the back of it is South.
If you want go to Yaesu South Gate,
and also if you arrives by Tokaido Shinkansen,
please get off the back of the train(from Car No. 6 to No. 4).
Go down the stairs from “shinkansen” platform,
then, you will enter the passage(concourse).
Since there are 2 passage ways, Central Passage way and South Passage way,
please go through South Passage way.
How to get to the Bus stop from Yaesu South Gate
- You will see the signboard in the concourse.
- Exit Yaesu South Gate.
- Upon getting out, Bus Terminal is right there.
- Bus stop 5 is bound for Tokyo Sky Tree.
- Turn rigtht
- There is the sign of 7.
- It takes around 3 min from the ticket gate.

Buses are operated from 5:40~18:10 and leave every 20 min.
At the busiest time, leave every 10 min.

How to go by train
How do you get to Narita Airport by train?
1, Take Narita Express from Yokosuka-Sobu Line(Lapid) platform at Tokyo Station.
2, Go to Nippori station by Yamanote Line from Tokyo Station.
Then, transfer to Keisei Skyliner on Keisei Main Line.
I will show you these 2 ways in detail.
How to go by Narita Express
This is the way to transfer to local lines from bullet train (Shinkansen) platforms.
How to transfer to local lines from shinkansen platforms
When you take bullet trains to Tokyo(Tokaido Shinkansen, Tohoku Shinkansen, etc),
the destination of the ticket says: Tokyo(within the 23wards).
So, there is no need to buy additional ticket now.
At the transfer gate to local lines,
put two tickets(boarding ticket and express fare ticket)into the slot at the same time.
Then, only the boarding ticket will come out.
This ticket is for the local ride.

As you can see, just a boarding ticket is being returned.
Do not forget to pick it up.

There are 10 tracks of local lines. The nearest track from the transfer gates is Track No. 10.
Then, No.9, No. 8, and so on.
Walking along Central Passage way is convenient for transfer.
How to transfer to Yokosuka-Sobu Line(Lapid)
- Look for the signboard of the transfer gate to JR local lines.
- Exit the transfer gate to JR local lines.
- Follow the signboard and turn right.
- Go along the Central Passage way.
- Here come the passengers from Tohoku Shinkansen and Hokuriku Shinkansen
- Walk towards smaller track numbers .
- On the left-hand side, you can see the eye-catching < Ekiben > shop.
- Go over the last platform, Track No. 1 and No. 2.
- The left hand-side of this photo is Marunouchi Central Exit gate.
- On the right-hand side, Marunouchi Underground Central Exit gate.
- Move on to Marunouchi Underground Centaral Exit gate.
- Descend the escalator or the stairs.
- Upon landing, go straight.
- You will find the signboard for Yokosuka- Sobu Line
- You will see the 2 escalators on the right and left sides of Marunouchi Underground Centaral Exit gate.
Go down one of the escalators.
- You will see the 2 escalators on the right and left sides of Marunouchi Underground Centaral Exit gate.
- Descend to the 4th floor of the basement.
The distance from Shinkansen platforms is about 250 m (direct distance on the map).
Actual walking distance is at least about 350 m.
It seems like to simply make it by a few minutes’ walking.
However, considering that you push your way through the crowd or
go down a long, long escalators,
you should take into account at least 10 min walking, for the first time.
