How to go by Train
How do you go to Tokyo Tower by train from Haneda Airport ?
■Take Tokyo Monorail
■ Take Keikyu Line
I will explain these 2 ways in detail.
How to Go by Monorail
Take Tokyo Monorail at Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho station
The layout of buildings of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are very similar.
So, after getting off airplane, you can transfer in the same way in either Terminal.
How do you get to Tokyo Monorail Ticket Gate from Arrival Lobby?
- Go down the escalator from Arrival Lobby .
- Go down to B1 floor.
- You will see the Information Counter down there.
- Monorail Ticket Gates are dead ahead.
- Please buy a ticket to Hamamatsucho station, \490.
- It takes 3 min to Monorail Ticket Gate on foot.

The order of Monorail stations is :
Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station (Terminal 2 building)
↓ ↓ ↓
Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station (Terninal 1 building)
↓ ↓ ↓
Haneda Airport International Terminal Station
Then we finally arrives at the terminal station, Hamamatsucho.

The types of trains are Haneda Express, Rapid Train and Local Train by their running time.
Ride Time to Hamamatsucho (by Haneda Express) is
16 min from Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station and
18 min from Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station.
How to transfer from Haneda Airport International Terminal
There are 3 ways to transfer.
◆ By Train(Tokyo Monorail or Keikyu Line)
◆ By Airport Limousine
◆ By Inter-Terminal Free Shuttle Bus

How to get to Tokyo Tower on foot from Hamamatsucho
- Exit the front of Central Ticket Gate.
- After getting out, go straight ahead.
- At the end of the passage, go down the stairs.
- After going down to 2nd floor, turn left.
- You will find the narrow exit like this.
- Walk along the building side.
- You can see the downward stairs
- Down there, you will see the entrance of Toei Line in front.
- Without getting down the entrance, turn left.
- Walk for 10 min and you will arrive at the “Zojoji-mae” T-junction.
- Turn right at this traffic light.
増上寺2 / UGA
- Walk down about 50 M.
- Take a left to the road in front of Tokyo Prince Hotel.
- Walk about 300 M.
- Walk across the “Tokyo Tower-Mae” traffic light.
- Take the second street to the left.
- You could see the “Tokyo Tower-Mae” bus stop.
- Turn to the right there.
- You will find the entrance of Tokyo Tower on the right side.
It takes 15 min on foot, about 1.3 Km.

How to go by Keikyu Line
There are 2 ways to go to Tokyo Tower by Keikyu.
◆Transfer at Daimon station to Toei Oedo Line.
Then go to Akabanebashi station by Toei Oedo Line and walk to Tokyo Tower.
◆Transfer at Mita station to Toei Mita Line三田駅で三田線乗り換え
Then go to Onarimon station by Toei Mita Line and walk to Tokyo Tower.
I will show you the above-mentioned ways in detail.
How to transfer to Keikyu Line
Haneda Airport is a starting station of Keikyu Line.
How do you get to Keikyu Ticket Gate from Arrival Lobby?
- Go down the escalator from Arrival Lobby.
- Go down to B1 floor.
- You will see the Information counter down there.
- Monorail Ticket Gates are dead ahead.
- Walk further by following the Keikyu Line signboard.
- Go down the escalator and go for Keikyu Line.
- you will see the Keikyu Ticket Gate down there.
- Touch the button of “Toei Line”at Ticket Machine.
- Insert \ 570
- You can see the destination information on the electric bulletin board.
- Transfer Time is 5 min on foot.

Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station
(for both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2)

In this Time Table, there are some trains you should not ride.
They get to different destinations.
久…Keikyu- kurihama / 崎…Misakiguchi
新…Shinzusi / 神…Kanagawa-shinmachi
Except these, you can ride any train.
※However, if you ride a train bound for Sengakuji station,
you have to change to the following train at Sengakuji.
How to go via Toei Oedo Line
When you take Limited Express train,
You will arrive at Daimon in 22 min.
The right side door will open.
Transfer at Daimon station to Oedo Line
- Get off Car No. 6 (the first car is No. 8)
- Go down the escalator.
- After getting off, you will immediately find another escalator on the right-hand side.
- Go down the escalator, and you will get to Oedo Line platform.
- Transfer time is 1.5 min.
- Get on a train at Track No. 4
- Akabanebashi station is the next stop and 2 min ride.

How to get to Tokyo Tower from Akabanebashi station
How do you go to Tokyo Tower from Akabanebashi on foot ?
- Exit the ticket gate.
- Go to Akabane-guchi Entrance (turn to the left)
- Go up the escalator.
- Go up the second escalator and you will get to the street level.
- Walk across the pedestrian crossing ahead.
- Then turn right and walk across another crossing.
- Go for the gas station on the left side.
- Turn left.
- Walk along about 1 min.
- You will get to “Tokyo Tower-shita” intersection.
- Walk up the hill on your left.
- You could find the “Tohu” restaurant on your way.
- You will see the signboard of the box office.
- There is the entrance ahead.
- It takes 8 min from Akabanebashi station.
How to walk to Tokyo Tower from Akabanebashi

How to go via Toei Mita Line
When you take Limited Express train,
You will arrive at Mita station in 20 min.
The right side door will open.
How to transfer at Mita station to Toei Mita Line
Get on the first car of train in advance on Keikyu Line
When you get off the train, you can smoothly go down the near stairs.
Down there, walk for a while, and you will find Track No.3 and Track No. 4.
Go down to Track No.4.
This is the platform on Toei Mita Line.
Get on a train bound for Nishi-takashimadaira on Track No.4(and you can take any train to come)
You will arrive at Onarimon station at 2 stops in 4 min.
The right side door will open.

How to go to Tokyo Tower from Onarimon
Get on the last car of train in advance on Mita Line.
- Get off Car No. 6
- Go for A1 Exit.
- Get out of the ticket gate.
- Follow the signboard and turn right.
- Walk to the end of the passageway.
- Go up the escalator and the stairs.
- Getting to the street level, turn left.
- Furthermore, turn left in front of the pedestrian crossing.
- You could see the second footbridge.
- Walk across the pedestrian crossing beyond.
- You will see Tokyo Prince Hotel and Tokyo Tower.
- There is the signboard for Tokyo Tower.
- There is the intersection 300M ahead .
- Walk across “Tokyo Tower- mae” intersection.
- You will find the box office 90M ahead.
- This is the entrance of Tokyo Tower
The walking distance is 600 M.
It takes 9 min from Onarimon Ticket Gate.

How to Go by Bus
You cannot take Limousine bound for the spots around Tokyo Tower, because these routes are not operating for now.
How to Go by Taxi
When you take a taxi from Haneda Airport to Tokyo Tower:
Time: 25~50 min.
Fare: \5,000 ~\5,500.
Time and fee of taxi vary with traffic congestion, too.
※When you get out of the taxi, don’t forget to ask for a“receipt”.
If you forget anything in the car, this is essential to ask the taxi company
